Show how much you love Dad by bringing him out to the Amarillo Zoo on Saturday, June 15^th between 1pm and 3pm for a free 16oz root-beer float! Dads can visit the Zoo’s concession stand to receive their free float in honor of Father’s Day. Others can also purchase a root-beer float for $2.50 (while supply lasts). Families can enjoy a day at the Zoo looking at the lions, tigers and lemurs and also visit the herpetarium and our new education center. What a great way to spend the day with Dad!

Adults (13-61)           $4.00
Senior (62 and up)    $3.00

2 and under                Free

It all begins at sundown where you’ll have a chance to stroll around the zoo where you’ll encounter special exhibits and discovery stations. You’ll meet some pretty cool nocturnal animals like tarantulas, scorpions, opossums and other creatures.  You’ll even have an opportunity to see the larger animals in their night time habitats like the lions, tigers, lemurs and fox.

The Zoo concessions will be open to satisfy that late evening munchies.

Flashlights are not required, but you may bring one if you feel you need aid in walking around the Zoo. The Zoo will have lanterns at key exhibit areas and discovery stations.

This great evening is only $5 per person for adults (ages 13 and up) and $4 per person for children (ages 12 and under).  .
